Blockchain tracing is a real discipline with real limits. Here is exactly where ours are, so you can judge whether an engagement is worth your time before you spend anything on it.
Can stolen crypto actually be recovered?
Stolen crypto can sometimes be recovered, but not by tracing alone. Blockchain analysis shows where funds went and whether they reached a service capable of freezing them. Recovery then depends on that service cooperating, on law enforcement acting, and on the funds still existing. Nobody can guarantee any of those three.
What we are not, in specific terms.
| Area | Position | What that means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Law enforcement | We are not a police force and hold no police powers. | We cannot seize, freeze, arrest, compel or search. Where a referral is right, we help you prepare one. |
| Regulatory status | We hold no licence, registration or approval, and claim none. | Any statement suggesting otherwise, from any source, is false. |
| Legal practice | We are not lawyers and give no legal advice. | We work alongside your counsel; we do not replace them. |
| Custody | We do not hold customer digital assets by default. | Portfolio surfaces in this build are labelled simulated and hold nothing. |
| Government relationships | We claim no partnership with any government body. | We will not imply one through logos, language or association. |

All of it carries an illustrative marker in the interface. None of it describes a real account, case or customer.
Because the alternative is a customer discovering the limits after paying. In this market the willingness to write this page is close to the only public signal that separates an investigator from a fraud.
Analysis and documentation: where the funds went as far as the chain allows, which services received them, whether any intervention point exists, and a report somebody with authority can act on. That has value precisely because it is honest about what it is.
Yes, and triage exists to do exactly that. If blockchain analysis cannot produce anything useful for your situation, the case stops at triage and you are not charged for an investigation that could not have worked.
