Cookie Policy

What this site stores in your browser. The short version: what is needed to keep you signed in securely, and nothing for advertising.

Last updated 21 August 2026Applies to chainwatchcrypto.com

What cookies does ChainwatchCrypto use?

ChainwatchCrypto uses cookies required for authentication, session handling and basic site function. It does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Cookie preferences can be managed in your browser, though blocking functional cookies will prevent signing in to an account or continuing a case.

What we use

Session cookie. Set when you sign in. HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite, so it cannot be read by scripts and is not sent on cross-site requests. Required for the application to work.

CSRF token. Protects state-changing requests from being forged by another site. Required for security.

Preference storage. Local storage used to remember interface preferences, such as which dashboard view you last used. Not transmitted to us.

What we do not use

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies
  • Cross-site tracking of any kind
  • Third-party analytics that profile individual visitors
  • Social media tracking pixels

The public pages of this site set no cookies at all until you sign in.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser. Blocking the session and CSRF cookies will prevent you from signing in, because both are required for authentication to work securely.

Changes

If we ever add a category of cookie, this page will be updated before it is set, and account holders will be notified.
